CROSBY'S SUZUKI SPA CLASSIC
This has got to be one of the best classic racing bike festivals anywhere in the world,guest appearances by Ago, Redman, Read, Robb, Sidecars Biland and, Webster to name but a few.
The Bikers Classic takes place in Belgiums Ardenne region on the historic Belgian Spa Franchorchamp Circuit, nestling in a lush green valley, soak up the atmosphere as the heroes of yesteryear put the MV's, Hondas and Guzzis through there paces, explore the open paddock getting up close to have a look and to listen to the exotic race bikes.
Don't forget your camera.
We have combined this with a whistlestop trip into Germany, ride the twisties through the forests of the Eifel mountains on your way to the Nurburgring [ have a try if you dare] staying over in the Mosel Gorge,
Relax in stunning surroundings giving you time to unpack the bike and sample the areas famous Wine, Beer and great food.
The Mosel river Gorge is an amazing biking area to explore with stunning scenery,ancient half timbered houses,castles,vineyards and forests.

DOLOMITES, MARMALADAS
Ride the spectacular high alpine mountain passes and the lush green valleys of the Austrian Tyrol on our way to the stunning lake Como and Garda.
A serene and beautiful region with villas and an interesting backdrop of ancient towns, castles, forts, lakes and mountains.
This tour is combined with riding the scenic Gardena Route. Climbing the mountain passes up into the jagged and beautiful Dolomites diverting through the little known but none the less spectacular Marmaladas which boasts some of the best biking roads in the world, bikers travel from all over to ride here as you will see at the many biker friendly cafes that dot the region.
But first we have to get there riding some interesting routes through the forests and sweepers of Belgiums Eifel mountains then onto Germany's famous 500 road in the spectacular Black forest.

TREMALA GOTTARD PASS
My highlight of the year as we ride the twisty and stunning alpine passes of Switzerland, Austria and Italy, staying over in the Swiss Oberland and Interlaken region with stunning views of the Eiger, Jungfrau mountains, glaciers and turquoise lakes.
Ride the best figure of eight biking road in the world climbing the famous Grimsel,Ufen, Furka, Gottard and the ancient cobbled Tremala passes [look out for the stage coach which still travels this route every day].
With glaciers,amazing views mountainous and scenery that I am sure will have you returning year after year.
Leaving Switzerland we head over more entertaining high mountain roads,follow the amazing spiral railway as it climbs the torturous Alabulah pass before dropping into our Livigno hotel. [tax free haven]
Back on the bike and the very popular Stelvio Pass awaits with it's 45 tight hairpins and great views, riding down into the beautiful Austrian Tyrol on more good biking roads.

FRENCH GLACIERS
Route De Grande Alpes is a fantastic 600km bikers route which runs north and south through the French Alps.
This route has some of Europes highest passes and takes us over a lot of the Tour de France hillclimbs [they must be mad]passing ancient castles,villages and stone hill forts with magnificent alpine scenery.
Riding through avenues of trees with lush green countryside of the Loire and French champagne region.
Explore the historic walled town of Annecy which sits alongside a beautiful turquoise lake surrounded by massive mountains scenery.
Climbing out of town we will ride the torturous hairpins up into the Alps proper passing Bourg de Maurice and Val d Iser on our way over the Col De Iseran and Galibier mountain range.
Biking doesn't get much better than this.
Verdon's Grand Canyon our goal will be our base for a few days giving you time to explore the great biking loop of the canyon, ride the regions spectacular roads with amazing gorges or nip down to the beaches of the south of France to Monte Carlo, Nice, Millau on the Med or ride the coast road, your choice.
We then ride over 200 miles on the famous twisty Napoleon Road, enjoy using your bike for what it is intended, making a biking holiday to remember.

This tour takes us over to France where we head south west through the Champagne region past lush green vineyards, on great roads lined with avenues of trees passing castles and old half timbered houses, our goal the French and Spanish Pyrenees mountain range which has loads of deserted bikers roads and beautiful mountain scenery to enjoy yourself.
Once settled in unpack the bike,relax and settle in.
Exploring the local roads as we zigzag back and forth over the high passes of the Pyrenees mountain range.
Climb the Le Toumalet a torturous series of passes which seperates France and Spain, passing turquoise lakes, deep torturous gorges swooping through ancient villages with wild moorland stretching as far as you can see.
On the bikes and away to Spains high plains riding a good route past castles and dolomite fields skirting Pamplona making our way to our second main destination the Picos de Europa on the northern coast of Spain.
This is one of the most picturesque mountain ranges in the world and the biking does't get much better, with quaint fishing villages ,white beaches and coves and of course the deserted biking routes throught the high passes and gorges.
Try the local Sidra [strong local cider]sample the local seafood, explore the spectacular gorges on the bike or hike in, well worth the walk.

BONERAS MV 500 GP BIKE
The Moto-Piston rally in the Picos De Europa in Northern Spain is a very popular classic bike event which takes place in Santander after 26 years in the village of Colombres.
The new venue near the historic Sandero circuit follows the same form as previous years.
We are visiting only to experience the event but feel free to get your old bike out and compete in the 5000 Curves time trial, hillclimb etc.
Modern bikes are made very welcome to follow the event which is held on public roads in the mountains of the Picos De Europa. To compete in any of the events you will need a pre 80's bikes only [pre booking is essential ]get the solvol out start polishing.
2009 had Sammy Miller on a Gilera 4 and Bonera on his works Mv 500 gp 4, or just wander around the town centre autojumble, try the giant Paella or look at the amazing assortment of new and old bikes.
Watch the old bikes from various vantage points in the mountains of the Picos or just get on your bike and explore the gorges and byeways of this fascinating area which has some of the best and deserted roads anywhere in the world.
Staying in a great seaside village hotel, loads of retaurants, bars, etc.
October usually has good weather and a great tour to end your biking year.
